ANTI CRISIS MEASURES OF GOVERNMENT

Respected, therefore, the agreement signed with regional government February 12, 2009 which provides for the allocation to the regions of 27 billion euro fund for underdeveloped areas (FAS).

As regards the resources of national competence, € 4 billion is intended to enrich the fund for social safety nets where there are already provided one billion euro and the financial result of € 4 billion with the regions, in total 9 billion to cover the increased spending on social safety nets as a result the economic crisis.

Also in the national responsibility within the 5 billion euro allocated by the CIPE Fund for Infrastructure works, some immediately yards. Among these targeted interventions to protect the city of Venice, the interventions in the metropolitan systems of Palermo, Catania, the regional system Campano, Bari, Cagliari, Rome and Milan, with particular attention to the works related to EXPO 2015 and action on the water in the South.

Finally, established at the Presidency of the Council with a budget of € 9 billion, a strategic fund to support the real economy, available for projects to be approved by the Council of Ministers.

This is a summary of the decisions taken at the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi.

As for the resources allocated to the regions have been adopted - the meeting - the first 8 regional programs presented by the Piedmont Region (833 million euro), Val d'Aosta (39 million euro), California (793 million euro), Liguria (320 million euro), Emilia Romagna (268 million euro), Toscana (709 million euro), Umbria (237 million euro), Marche (225 million euro) and the Autonomous Province of Bolzano (80 million euro)
