There are days when I have the temptation to give up to take up the thread. Young people are smart, even more than it was me at their age, if only because of the complexity of the society they plan their future and the difficulty to see a future, given the precarious economic conditions and job we delivered to them. But it does not appear to pose the question of the meaning of what they live ... or maybe if you put it and live it in practice as in the experiences that fill their lives and I am no longer able to understand and listen. However the question remains: Where, when, because there may be a question of the meaning of existence for a young man? Course, is undoubtedly the case that when someone dear to get sick and die, or the hour when we celebrate the funerals of friends who died tragically. In those moments there is the silence of the desert that death creates in us when you take away the people we love, there is no word that fits, but a kind of anxiety that presses on the stomach and not even dampened when we cry the question of why the death. The only vital boost in the desert is the embrace of others, a touch of life to which you can leave for a moment, a breath, a break from the bite of anxiety, which then promptly returns. Weak response that is kept carefully in the days, months .. in the years to come. Step up being together, feel the warmth of the other non-stop, response is fragile, but effective. It is often embrace of protest which does not enter the presence of devotion and tenderness of the crucified. On the other hand I think the tragic moment of death can not be the only time the question arises as to why and the meaning of life. In fact there is a dimension of life that brings with her radical questions about who I am and how I find what I am: the relationship of love. Young people fall in love, looking for love, tenderness.
