1. We are all unhappy with the current electoral law , universally referred to as "porcellum" with which he voted in the last two elections (2006 and 2008).
2. This law, through the blocked lists, has snatched the voters of any remaining possibility to choose their representatives in Parliament, giving a narrow oligarchy of people (the leaders of political parties) the power to 100% of the composition of the Legislative Assemblies . Therefore, all "the people's representatives" were appointed by oligarchies of the party, be released from any popular control.
3. Through the introduction of thresholds for barring unreasonable, the "porcellum" has stifled diversity, expelling minorities, not coalesced by the Parliament.
4. The proposed referendum does not fix any of the defects "porcellum" but on the contrary, aggravates them, emphasizing the negative consequences.
5. The referendum proposes two main changes to the existing electoral law: a) awards the majority of the list, which has received even a single vote more than other competing lists, withdrawing the possibility that the premium is attributed to a coalition of parties, b ) causes a doubling of the minimum threshold for confirming all the 4% threshold in the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate by 8% (current law requires only that the parties are not merging).
6. Award a prize to a majority of single list causes an unusual increase in the premium itself, subverting the basic rule of any democracy which is based on the principle that decisions are taken by majority vote.
7. In this way there is a sort of dictatorship of the minority , as one party, without the consent of the majority of the Italian people would have in its hands the control of the government and the possibility of electing - alone - the President of the Republic and to amend the Constitution.
8. The call of the voters to the polls for the referendum hides a fallacy: it uses the general dissatisfaction that we all have towards this electoral law (the porcellum) to push for a vote, whatever the outcome, can have no other effect than that to strengthen the porcellum.
9. For this it is a hoax referendum: It calls us to the polls to kill porcellum, but in fact the fat and makes it untouchable, because Parliament could not do because of the electoral reforms bound by the vote of the people expressed through the referendum.
