Three amendments to re-establish the Young Communist
Daniel Maffione (formerly National Coordination GC)
Communist Left attending the Fourth National Conference of Young Communists submitting their amendments to the first national document, "Young Communist / i: A generation of dreams, conflicts and revolutions." The barrier of the 150 signatures required by national regulation, this area has responded well by delivering 217 signatures, collected in twelve different regions, which were delivered on time and with exemplary rigor, surpassing even the number of accessions in order to submit a alternative document!
This result is given by an extraordinary mobilization of our militants in the territories, that occurred in a few days, showing that ours is not an area that exists only "on paper", as in the case of the political class of the other components of this organization, who decided to table its own weight in future leadership bodies. Communist Left is a component that has a strong united and living in daily contact with local clubs and between the base of our organization, enjoying broad consensus. One year and three months of its constitution, this cultural and Planning, which is social conflict, collective organization and its theoretical strengths, will present additional arguments and substitute therefore the first document. This choice is gained in the attempt to give a unitary perspective to our organization, but also with the idea of not flatten out in a unanimous first expressed in the document content. We believe this text widely shared and we take it in the attempt to overcome internal splits, but we also see the analytical limits, which are reflected in the lack of policy proposals on some strategic issues that we are to overcome our amendments. In fact, our argument, made by a collective elaboration, capture exactly the need to open a broader confrontation in the Young Communists' anti-fascist struggles "(additions to the thesis n.8)," The s Young Communist / s in the front line of defense of the commons "(the integration thesis No.15) and" Young Communist / i: drive, conflict, the Communist Refoundation (replacement thesis No. 25) are the amendments presenting with this perspective. On one of these arguments (the one on the commons), among other things, we built a unified convergence with other basic components of our organization, to the detriment of those who presented as an area in the first factional paper.
mates Communist Left has been severely beaten in all these months to give our organization a unitary structure and a revolutionary perspective to the GC, but so far we have been regularly excluded from any body of political leadership or management. Despite this, while others undertook strategies pre-congress, we have secured the unit in the base organization, providing a strong showing in the conflict, the challenge to the G8 summits to combat the resurgence of neo-fascists, the election campaign the commitment given in the Brigades of active solidarity in Abruzzo. We have highlighted the limits of the Young Communist League in the class struggle, projecting into the struggles of the precarious and the working class, and have even sponsored a national training school in Rocca di Papa (Rm), which provided ideological tools of the first and many cultural activists, filling a major gap in the party.
Today we summarize our positions and our experience in three amendments, which we have made available to all Young Communist League, a proposal to build a united political and revolutionary perspective, starting from the re-establishment of a thought and a Marxist organization. For us, the Communist Refoundation is more necessary than ever, at a time when capitalism produces even more 'injustice and exploitation, that the Berlusconi government and the right result in narrowing subversive of democracy, workers and attacks on political and social repression. The basis of our amendments is the idea that the youth wings of communist parties, by their vocation generational feel more 'the need of the conflict. This thing has always put the young Communists in every age and country, to the left of their parties as they push their organizations into the heart of class struggle and social upheaval.
Therefore, we ask all young communists who feel the need to hold together the organization, but also to express their ideas with force, to support the Fourth National Conference on the first paper, by voting for amendments. We ask the entire base to reinforce the idea of collective intellect, developed by Antonio Gramsci, with which to build a genuinely revolutionary party, which is finally at the challenges of our times!
